Reservations

• Reserving a slot is compulsory. By using our reservation system you agree to these terms and conditions.
• Reservations can only be made through the website www.museumescape.nl. This requires at least a name, e-mail adress and phone number. Payment can be made directly through the website or on-site.
• A reservation is made for the amount of people participating. Communicate changes to the booking in a timely fashion, these can then be financially handled on-site.
• After making a reservation for a date and time, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail may end up in the Spam folder. If you haven't received a confirmation, the reservation was not finalized. Please contact us directly in that case.

THE GAME

• The minimum age for participants is 16 years. Children below the age of 16 can participate is accompanied by an adult.
• 2-7 people per playthrough.
• The play time is c. 45 minutes, it cannot be extended. During this time, you and your group will be locked in the 'crate'. You will be monitored through cameras (no recordings will be made) and the door can be opened at any time.
• Please make sure to arrive 10 or 15 minutes before the game starts. If you are late you may not be able to play your selected slot.
• Instructions from the staff must be followed at all times. If you do not follow instructions, our staff has the right to remove you from the building.
• It is not allowed to use force in attempts to solve puzzles or otherwise.
• No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed access to the Escape Room. If you are found to be under the influence on arrival, we will be forced to deny you entrance. No restitutions will be made in this case.
• If a staff member has any doubts about the condition of participants, the staff member can refuse the participant. No restitutions will be made in this case.
• Coffee, tea and other consumptions can be ordered from the Museum café. Please keep an eye on the time!

RISKS AND RESPONSIBILTIES

• Participating in the escape room is at the participants' own risk. In principle participation is not dangerous, the experience can be played by anyone.
• Any physical harm suffered during a visit to Museum Escape cannot be recovered from the company.
• Museum Escape is not responsible for personal belongings or any damage thereto.
• In case of theft the police will always be called.
• Museum Escape reserves the right to recover any damages caused to their properties on those that caused the damage.
• Lockers are available in the museum to store valuables and personal belongings.

CANCELLATIONS

• Cancellations can be made at no cost until 48 hours before the start time.
• If a cancellation is made between 48 and 24 hours before the start time, 60% of the price will be charged.
• At a cancellation within 24 hours from the start time, the full price will be charged.
• In the case of no-show, full price will be charged.
• Cancellations and changes to the booking can be made by sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The cancellation will be completed on receiving confirmation.
• If payment has already been made, the difference will be refunded within 14 days.
• If we are forced to cancel a booking through external factors, the full price will be refunded.

CONFIDENTIALITY

• The fun of Escape Rooms is best kept when the experience is discussed with others, without giving away the secrets or surprises. Avoid discussing clues, puzzles or storylines with those who have yet to experience it. Allow everyone to discover it for themselves!
